Road trip from London,Ontario to PEI?

I am currently in Afghanistan and upon my return in late August I plan on going on a road trip. The start point would be London,Ontario and the end point would be Prince Edward Island. Along the way I planed on stoping in Quebec, Montreal, and other interesting city's and places. I would appreciate some suggestions on good places to stop. It will be me and my wife and I don't want the trip to be over two weeks. So a combination of romantic and beautiful sights.
