What is the liverpool empire theatre cloakroom like?

Im going to see Ringo Starr on Saturday and want to make a day of it in Liverpool by going shopping! but the bags I will get will probably be too big for under the seats. There is a cloakroom there but it says on the website that they cannot take responsibility for anything put there making me feel as though its just high risk. I was just wondering if anyone has been and knows what its like cause I dont want to just plonk my newly bought stuff somewhere for anyone to take.
