Can anyone tell me the name of this romantic foreign film?
I am looking for the name of this one movie, I think it was British-made, I think it probably came out in the early or mid 90s. It's a romantic movie about these three guys who, I think, live in London and they all meet an American girl who they fall in love with, but they are also extremely good friends. However, they come to value the girl more than their friendship. One of the guys ends up winning the girl. But he's upset about having to break up with his friends so he goes to see this one guy who lives in his building who he thinks is a psychiatrist, but the guy is actually a construction worker. He misreads the labels for people living in his apartment building so he ends up mistakenly consulting the construction worker and he tells him the whole story. When he finishes, the construction worker nevertheless gives him good advice, he says to him: "Decisions are easy, people make thousands of them everyday. You're not coming to me because you're unhappy about having to make a decision, you're unhappy about a decision you've already made." At which point, the guy decides to win the girl and break up his friendship with the other two guys. Then, there's a point where he doesn't think he'll get the girl, so he decides to get the next flight out of the airport, which just happens to be heading for Rejkjavik, Iceland. The girl books a ticket for the same flight and she surprises him on the plane, and they both end up happily going to Iceland together. In the end credits, you see photos of the construction worker with other construction workers who are coming to him with their problems. It's a funny movie as well as romantic. Does anybody know what the name of this movie is?
