Need help with tape on rare record paper?

well i recently bort a record by ringo starr and the paper sleve is signed by him. it is framed and the guy used tape to stick the record and the sleve in and now i cant remove the tape. so does anyone know any methods of removing tape off the paper sleve? thanks
