What is a word that means 'lots of' that starts with an 'm' and is used in relation to time?

There is a particular word that I am looking for. I only remember seeing it used in relation to time. It starts with an 'M' and is several syllables long. The closest that I can currently think of is: 'Magnificant' I know that John Ringo has used it in some of his 'Council of War' series, but I dont want to reread the series to find the word. 1st answer with the word gets it!
